2. Eligibility

To use JobRises.com, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher)
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. JobRises reserves the right to verify eligibility and refuse service at its discretion.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the platform, you may need to register for an account. When you do, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during sign-up
  • Keep your account credentials (username and password) confidential
  • Notify us immediately at support@jobrises.com of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Take full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Not share your account with or transfer it to any other person

JobRises reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe are being used fraudulently.

4. Use of the Platform

JobRises.com provides an online platform that connects job seekers with employers and recruiters. The Service is intended solely for lawful employment-related purposes. You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

JobRises does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of job listings, employer profiles, or any other content posted on the platform.

5. Job Seekers

As a job seeker using JobRises.com, you agree that:

  • All information you provide in your profile, resume, and applications is accurate and up to date
  • You will not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity
  • You will not apply for jobs you are not genuinely interested in or legally eligible for
  • Your profile and resume may be visible to employers and recruiters on the platform
  • You are solely responsible for evaluating any job offer or employer before accepting employment
  • JobRises does not guarantee job placement, interviews, or employment outcomes

You may control the visibility of your profile through your account settings at any time.

6. Employers & Recruiters

If you use JobRises.com as an employer or recruiter, you additionally agree to:

  • Post only genuine, lawful job opportunities
  • Not post misleading, discriminatory, or fraudulent job listings
  • Comply with all applicable employment laws and anti-discrimination regulations
  • Use candidate data solely for legitimate recruitment purposes
  • Not contact candidates for purposes unrelated to the advertised role
  • Pay all applicable fees for premium listings or employer services as agreed

Important: JobRises reserves the right to remove any job posting that violates these Terms or applicable law, without notice and without refund.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you will not, under any circumstances:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
  • Harvest, scrape, or collect user data without our prior written consent
  • Use automated bots, crawlers, or scripts to access the platform
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
  • Impersonate any person, company, or entity
  • Post spam, unsolicited messages, or chain letters
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits other users from using the platform
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of JobRises or any third party

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and may be reported to relevant authorities.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on JobRises.com — including but not limited to the logo, design, text, graphics, software, data compilations, and the overall look and feel of the platform — is the exclusive property of JobRises or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for its intended purpose. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content
  • Use JobRises branding, logos, or trademarks without prior written permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the platform

Content you submit to the platform (e.g., your resume or profile) remains your property. By uploading it, you grant JobRises a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use it to operate the Service.

9. Third-Party Links & Services

JobRises.com may contain links to third-party websites, employer career pages, or integrated third-party services. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site or service.

Your interactions with third parties — including employers, recruiters, and external services — are solely between you and that third party. JobRises is not liable for any loss or damage arising from such interactions.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobRises disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • Warranties that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
  • Warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the platform
  • Warranties that job listings are genuine, accurate, or will result in employment

JobRises does not act as an employer and is not a party to any employment agreement between a job seeker and an employer. We are a platform service only.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JobRises, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
  • Costs of procuring substitute goods or services
  • Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorised access to or use of our servers or your personal data

In no event shall JobRises’s total liability to you for all claims exceed the greater of PKR 10,000 or the amount you have paid to JobRises in the six months prior to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JobRises and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Any content you submit, post, or transmit through the platform

13. Termination

JobRises reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms or our Privacy Policy
  • Conduct that is harmful to other users, JobRises, or third parties
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Prolonged inactivity

You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability — shall continue to apply.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pakistan.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page
  • Notify registered users via email for significant changes
  • Post a notice on the JobRises.com homepage

It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
